we had a lovely stay at the yew tree. the location was easy to find, just off the a49. the inwood double room was tastefully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. even though our room was above the bar, we weren’t disturbed by noise. the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I loved the delightful ambiance of the pub with its friendly staff and enjoyed the excellent full English breakfast. it was a perfect start to a day exploring the nearby breathtaking hikes around Ragleth Hill and the scenic views of The Long Mynd, which are just a short drive away.

Loved the cozy room and delicious carvery. The Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

Request a room away from the bar for a quieter night and enjoy the creaky charm of the place.

Decent Stay, Room for Improvement

We spent a night in a double room. Though the staff were friendly, the dining experience fell short with limited choices and an uninviting atmosphere. If you have mobility issues, be prepared for numerous stairs. Great for a quick stop, but not for an extended stay.
